Rush Limbaugh: Thank You Mr. President

by Lawrence on April 17, 2010

Recently Rush Limbaugh took President Obama at his word, telling him, thank you, Mr. President, for many of the things President Obama has done since he took office. This was in response to the president’s deriding of the American Tea Party patriots at a Democrat fund raiser in the home of Gloria Estefan when he said they should be thanking him for the tax cuts he gave us rather than complaining about too many taxes.

Here is a video of Rush thanking the president for all he has done for us so far. You’ll notice that kindly ole Rush thanks him for a lot.

The last few days I have been reading Sean Hannity’s excellent new book Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda. In it, Sean details a list of some things President Obama could be thanked for or, perhaps better said, driven out of office for. Here’s a top 10 list of a few of some of the more easily recognizable gifts Obama has perpetrated on the American people whom he so despises:

  1. David Axelrod—chief adviser, a radical leftist publisher
  2. Anita Dunn—White House communications director, whose favorite philosopher is Mao
  3. Van Jones—“green czar,” a self-identified communist.
  4. Kathleen Sebelius—Health and Human Services secretary, this former governor of Kansas enjoyed a close personal and financial relationship with later-term abortionist, Dr. George Tiller.
  5. Mortgage Bailout Plan—cost $75 billion.
  6. The Stimulus Bust—cost $787 billion.
  7. ObamaCare (RomneyCare 2.0?)—cost untold trillions of dollars and the American spirit of freedom. As Reagan said, “One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people. . . .”
  8. Obama’s World Apology Tour—self-explanatory name for Obama’s international tour confessing America’s flaws and the sins we have committed against the rest of the world.
  9. The Death of the Three-legged Stool—strong defense, strong economy and strong social values.
  10. And the list goes on and it growing minute by minute. Obama will just keep on giving unless we stop him.

The time to stop Obama’s gift-giving campaign for the American people is, first, the 2010 elections, then in 2012 we can get him off our backs completely, if we constitutional conservatives stick together and vote en masse.

Hint: Electing Mit Romney as president in 2012 is not the answer. There are probably several good answers but he is not one of them. The man is a RINO. Of the really good answers out there, to me the most electable right now is Newt Gingrich.

Here’s how I see it: We can vote Mr. Obama out of office in 2012 only if we elect a large number of conservatives to Congress and to all levels of State and local government in the 2010 elections. Only after success in 2010 can we look to give him the boot in 2012. The one cannot follow without the other.

Dear Mr. Limbaugh,

With all due respect, you missed an important THANK YOU to the President… “Thank you”, Mr. President, for your skillful manipulation of racial issues that set all America back about 50 years! Your comments about the “Hispanic father taking his little girl for ice cream” and your leadership with political appointees in the DOJ who, according to testimony under oath, have established “racially biased policies” to accept cases for prosecution are a sad comment on your Presidency.

When Americans voted for CHANGE, they were thinking forward not backward! How could you possibly let or encourage the DOJ to set such racist policies? Is that “equal justice” under the law? Or is it that you are practicing “social justice” by ignoring constitutional precepts? This administrative performance is a disgrace to the black race and all they has been achieved by Martin Luther King to bring the social inequities of the past into the light of day. You have thrust us backward into the darkness of ignorance.

The media, including Fox’s O’Reilly, viewed the New Black Party story as nothing but the story of a few thugs. They missed the point. It’s not about a small band of thugs; it’s about the “social justice” that Eric Holder affords to them because they are a band of black thugs! Is that how you think Mr. President? Do you support that kind of “social justice for all”?

Dear Rich Costabile,

Thank you for your considered comment.

Yes, “Americans voted for CHANGE” but not the change they got. Among other unkept promises by President Obama, his promise for transparency in government seems to have been a untruth of the first water. His government has not even tried to be transparent, e.g., his Obamacare bill was rammed through congress with anyone in congress knowing its contents.

Also the president is over his head in the presidency. The office of president is in large measure an office of administration. Mr. Obama had not so much as run a Koolaid stand before he became our president. He is over his head and sinking.

Again, thank you for your considered comment. Contrary opinions are the best fodder for a discussion
