If you think Obama is destroying America, you have a lot of company
It is no longer a question of whether Obama is destroying the greatest nation the world has ever known. It has become abundantly clear that, since he has been our chief executive, he has been destroying everything America is and believes in; viz., her economy, her faith, her heritage, her culture, and her future.
Here is the question: is President Obama destroying America on purpose
I suspect he is, but I remain uncertain. Here is why. On the face of it, there are only two possibilities: either Obama is deliberately destroying America or he is a true believer in liberal progressivism. As many times as it has been discredited, to be a true believer in liberal progressivism, he would have to be a stupid fool to continue being a true believer. I think he is not stupid or a fool, so what is the answer?
I am convinced that, like Adlai Stevenson was many years ago, Mr. Obama is a very intelligent fellow.
I am not sure many of you remember Mr. Stevenson. Adlai Ewing Stevenson II (February 5, 1900 – July 14, 1965) was a politician, known for his intellectual manner, oratorical eloquence, and promotion of liberal causes of the Democrat Party. He served as the 31st Governor of Illinois. He was the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee in 1952 and 1956. He lost both those races to Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower.
While he was an eloquent orator, he was not a good extemporaneous speaker. When he spoke extemporaneously he hemmed and hawed constantly. I believe this hemming and hawing was the result of his acute intelligence, which would shower him with so many possibilities of how to deliver a given thought, as he was trying to do just that, that he was forced constantly to sift through them to find just the right words to precisely express the thought he wished to deliver.
Do you see the resemblance between Adlai Stevenson and Barack Obama? I do, I see them as very much alike.
I have been amaze over the years how often highly intelligent people arrive at very stupid conclusions. I think that may be what has lead Obama to so many absurd conclusions. His intelligence certainly lead Mr. Stevenson to many absurd conclusion.
President Obama is destroying America
My ‘Top 10 List’ of how the Obama is destroying America by over spending and under performing:
- Debt, debt, and more debt. Unprecedented budget deficits into the foreseeable future.
- European socialist-style spending. Spending like crazy across the board.
- Spend, spend, spend. Billion for high-speed rail. Why? What is the ROI for the taxpayer.
- Freezing past spending in place. Having presided over vastly increased discretionary spending, he now wants to freeze those increases in place. This on top of the staggering discretionary spending increases of George Dubya.
- Expanding government. He is expanding our federal government at an unprecedented pace.
- More and higher taxes. Obama proposes $1.6 trillion in new taxes on families and businesses during the coming decade.
- No entitlements will be reformed. Really? This despite the fact Social Security and Medicare are forecast to permanently be in the red.
- Fake defense budget cuts. Some tiny Pentagon budget cuts actually amount to a small defense spending increases.
- Rosy assumptions. ‘Nuff said. Obama anticipates overly high economic growth and jobless rate.
- Obamacare will need more money. Includes money to implement an alphabet soup of healthcare related changes and increases.
I have attenuated this list and its explanations as much as possible. Still, I think there is enough to enable you to see that President Obama is bent on destroying America as an economic powerhouse to bring us to our knees and ready us for the next step in establishing a socialist and, indeed, finally a communist America made up of 50 soviets rather than 50 sovereign states.
The other aspects of the character of the United States of America: her faith, her heritage, her culture, and her future, have been addressed and will be addressed over and over again as the fight continues to make Obama a one-term president.

The answer is yes, he is. However is it deliberate? My feelings are that Mr Obama is a person in search of an identity. He is not the descendant of slaves as he tries to pretend he is. His mother was named Stanley at birth, so what kind of identity, security could she have passed on to her son. His presumed father, was a Kenyon who was able to obtain position by force and plunder, and not the ability to produce. He belongs to the identity that accepted him. The extreme left. Had another philosophy been around to embrace him, who knows what political values he would have acted on..

I don’t think that one man, president or not, can “destroy America.” Nor that questions like these have easy “either/or” answers.
Obama inherited a staggering government debt and a bottoming economy that the outgoing president and economic advisors on both sides thought required more spending. The Bush administration inherited a government surplus which, in a period of eight years it managed to turn into a staggering debt.
If anyone is going to “destroy America,” it won’t be a single president; it will be the willfully ignorant, greedy, self-serving politicians who run the government for themselves, refusing to cooperate in the interest of the majority of Americans.

I am sure you are right when you write “I don’t think that one man, president or not, can ‘destroy America.’” It is my belief that he hates America and what America stands for. The well researched and documented book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” by Dinesh D’Souza makes this clear, and there are other good sources available as well that show how and why Obama hates America and what America stands for. No, one man cannot destroy America and I doubt Obama will get the job done, even with the help of all the extreme leftist allies and terrorist allies he has from his past associations, and his political allies in the U.S. Senate and Congress.

It is quite evident that the Moron that currently resides in the White House with his fat, ugly and
unappreciative wife is intentionally attempting to destroy the United States, especially with his
clear association with the traitorous Hungarian/American citizen and billionaire, George Soros
whose sole intent is to destroy the American economy and capitalism as we know it, in the same
vein that he almost destroyed the bank of England. Soros is an evil individual, perhaps the Devil

Order policy and the Moron, once the dust has settled from the war between the East and West, to

The time for hardball play started with the election of Woodrow Wilson; he was the starter (Like the guy who starts the race with a pistol shot) of the left’s race to establish a United Socialist States of America. Hardball play became intensified with the election of Barack Hussein Obama. I agree that we should now be redoubling our efforts to unseat his sorry rear as our president.

I agree that Pres. Obama can orchestrate the destruction of America, but he cannot singlehandedly make it happen; he must have cooperative henchmen who will aid him in his mission. I agree that Obama is following the lead, to the best of his abilities, of the three mentors you alluded to and others; such as the convicted terrorist Bill Ayers. And finally, I agree with you about the desire among many, including Obama, to establish a “one world order.” Part of the pathway to the one world is getting the world rid of Christianity.

President Obama has many faults, just one of which is his strongly-held, egotistical belief that he is at all times the smartest person in the room. This belief in his mental capacity leads him to think he can overpower anyone with his negotiating and debating skills. Sadly, I recall another egomaniacal, progressive Democrat president whose belief in his own powers of persuasion lead him to give away Eastern Europe at the end of WWII to the Soviet Union dictator Joseph Stalin. There is merit in what you say. We all sometimes become overwrought and gush forth with an overabundance of vindictive comments.
In order to take back our country, a velvet march on Washington, D.C. is required, similar to
the methods used in the 1789 French Revolution, without the violence and bloodshed, if you
follow. Compromise will not be useful, but an actual physical takeover of our government by our

Our country is in trouble in more ways than one, but I cannot support “an actual physical takeover of our government by our trustful [sic] military.” The military must forever be under the control of civilians. However, I do concur with you and our founding fathers that a revolution of some type against an intolerable government is a morally allowable possibility.

My one disagreement with your comment is that I do not see Obama as a mad monster; rather I see him as one who well knows what he is about and that is the destruction of America as we know it, so he and his Marxist-socialist mob can turn America into another failed atheistic Marxist-socialist nation of beggars looking for the next public dole.
Why in the world would Obama want to turn our country into a failure? That’s absolutely ridiculous. What would he gain? When a bunch of lawyers who are looking to get rich are running Congress, what do you expect? I think there should be 2-year term limits for ALL members of Congress, so no one gets entrenched and subject to corruption. I will just add that I believe what has caused America to lose some of her greatness is a loss of faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ combined with a turning away from the rule of law to governance by bureaucratic edict and regulation which has come to us in recent times through a progressive winnowing of the separation of powers; both of which, the rule of law and the separation of powers, are enshrined in the Constitution of the United States.
I believe President Obama is destroying the American economy on purpose. A socialist, he is drawing on his experiences as a community organizer and what he is learned from his close friend and associate Bill Ayers, and Van Jones, as well as, the dreams of his father. Obama believes the way to institute a true overthrow of the American system of governance is to break the will of the people by destroying the economy; thereby, paving the way for instituting a true dictatorship of the proletariat, a.k.a., a communist dictatorship. The fact that so many Americans are on the public dole in some way or other shows that the time is near when turning back will no longer be an option. I think Governor Romney is a good man, if not as conservative as I would like, but Christian? I don’t think so. That is not to denigrate his goodwill and belief in God Almighty. It is just that, as far as I know, as a Mormon, Governor Romany does not believe that Jesus Christ is true god and true man. Mormons say they are Christians, but are they? To be a Christian and brother of our Lord Jesus Christ, one must believe in the divinity and the manhood of Christ. That is the essence of the meaning of the term: Christian.

I fear that, if we are unable to dump Pres. Obama now, we may have but one alternative left; an alternative that Americans, me included, do not like to even consider. That alternative was thought by our Founding Fathers as a last resort. Armed rebellion is what I have in mind, but only if all else fails.
I can tell you right now rebellion of any kind against our Federal Government is not something I will be in favor of until and unless our government leaders appear to be completely against the will of the people. That said, I am very doubtful that we will ever reach that stage of discontent. The very idea makes my stomach rumble with queasiness. Please dear Lord God Almighty, do not let it come to such a pass.
The ignorance of so many Americans about politics and especially of the U.S. Constitution is the result of the failings of our school system in the U.S. The great decline of our educational system started in earnest the day the Federal Department of Education (DoE) was created. Today you can combine the mischief of the DoE with the unionization of practically every school in our educational system. Even Franklin Delano Roosevelt, left winger that he was, knew that government employees of whatever stripe and governmental jurisdiction should not be allowed to unionize and certainly could not be allowed to strike.
One last thing I wish to touch on is I, too, do not favor Governor Mitt Romney to be the President of the United States (POTUS). He is far too liberal. However, he is better than the fate worse than death that awaits us if President Obama should be re-elected as POTUS.

I believe in the first debate Romney definitely beat Obama on all issues. Obama looked clueless. Which I believe he is. He’s never even passed a piece of legislature before his presidency and he doesn’t understand how America works. The debate tonight meaning the second debate I think Romney did quite well. Alcohol was legalized. We could tax marijuana and pay china off in 10 years. We need to make America attractive as mitt says so businesses will stay here and come here. We need more private insurance companies to startup in this country to make insurance more competitive. It’s to monopolized. That would create jobs. I will just say in reply that I believe Obama is in his heart such a base, abominable, low, vulgar man that his next four-year term as our president, will in all probability be the doom of the America we love and the America that is looked up to by the rest of the world. Given the opportunity to converse with many people around the world, I believe you would in fact find they still look up to America as the nonpareil touchstone of freedom and hope in the world.

I haven’t any idea of what your qualifications are or what kind of position you would find suitable for you, but just from reading your comment; I would say you would be a great asset for any company.
Assuming you would be ready to relocate for worthwhile employment, I believe you can be assured of getting immediate employment in any of the first . . . oh, say . . . 10 states listed on the Bureau of Labor Statistics Local Area Unemployment Statistics website. After visiting this website, you might want to place a call to one of the states you think might work for you. The top 4 or 5 of those states would beg you to come to work in their state in your chosen field of endeavor. The top 10 states in that list are pretty cold places in the winter, but, people not only live in all of those states, they thrive in those states. One reason is crooks and ne’er-do-wells don’t seek cold clime to do their mischief in.

I strongly believe Obama is intentionally destroying America..how else do you explain for what is happening. More joblessness, more government dependency, more lies, more legislation being passed to increase problems. Our rights are being taken away until we have none.

Instead of destroying the economic elite of this country, we need to give them more incentives and ability to provide the jobs that are the engine of our economy. As long as we have a higher tax rates for investment and savings, coupled with government mandated tax loopholes for special interests, we will continue down the road to economic destruction of the free economic system of the United States. Once it is destroyed, it will be replaced Marxist-socialism; an economic system that has never succeeded before.
Obama and the economic elite of the United States are mortal enemies. Let us pray that the economic elite survive and win this fight to the death. If the economic elite win, we survive and grow; if Obama wins, America, the land of the free, will die.
Obama is well aware of his identity. You are right in that his intent and those of his backers is to bring down America BUT apparently we are not the America of our ancestors, as you said “everything we believe in” – the majority of this those living here now – millions not even citizens – have different beliefs. Obama said he was born in Kenya, said he is a Muslim, said he will change America (and is) and millions have drank the proverbial Koolaide – they gaga over him just like those who fell for David Koresh, Jim Jones, Warren Jeffs, and even Hitler – people worship him and my grandchildren will watch the fall of this great nation as it is no longer the greatest on earth. Our kids cant read, cant find jobs and cant do the job if they get hired. But the elite are not responsible, the parasaites are the problem – the elite created jobs and wealth – the top 1% of the nation’s wealthiest people are paying 37% of the taxes and the bottom 47% are paying nothing – so when the elite are robbed of their wealth, we will look like communist Germany – only Obama and his posse will be still flying around on vacation. He has planned it this way and he is on the road to completion. We just sit like dummies catching the scraps of what he throws us as “gifts”

Hear, hear! Right on! Your comment shows excellent understanding of the situation we find ourselves in, as a country. Your comment included some well-taken points that have not been addressed very well, if at all, in the many comments this article has provoked.
Here follows some of the things you addressed, garnished with my comments.
1) “[W]e are not the America of our ancestors. . . .” Of course you are right and you are right to mention we have allowed too many illegal aliens and other immigrants who have refused to become true members of our European, Christian-based society. Their number has grown such that they have been able to pollute our original understanding of the heritage handed down to us by the founders and others of our ancestors.
2) Obama and his regime is peopled by serial liars and people who are alienate our society by dividing it by race, color, economic status, religious and political beliefs, and other ways too numerous to recount here.
3) Obama and his ilk in the now ultra-liberal (or progressive) Democrat Party have added to the voting rolls as many uneducated, uncaring, give-me-mine, political-idiot Kool-Aid drinkers, and air-headed Hollywood types as possible in order to create a political majority in this once great nation. Obama, for his part couldn’t care less about these people, but they, for their part worship him. He is their satanic god; a god who hates the Christian God on whose truths our founding fathers tried to base our republic.
4) Obama is being aided and abetted by the unbelieving and uncaring teachers in the secular schools our children attend.
5) Secularism is the new religion Obama and his ultra-liberal ilk are foisting on America. It is, after all, the preferred religion of the fascists, socialists and the Marx-socialist of the new America they wish to establish.
6) Yes, Obama is bent on destroying the United States of America and we, for our part, as a nation of people, are standing by like”dummies” just waiting for his next move, as we eat “the scraps of what he throws us as ’gifts’.”
May God help us. Please dear Lord, come now to our aid. Alone and left to ourselves, we are too weak to stand up without your aid.
